1977 with his brother Paul. Ken is a lifelong Jasper resident and Indiana
University graduate. He and his wife Marsha, a speech pathologist, have been
married since 1974. Ken is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, is a past
President of the Greater Downtown Business Association, and is the Vice
President of ROJAC (Redevelop Old Jasper Action Coalition). He enjoys
collecting old performance cars, operating John Deere tractors, and refurbishing
older buildings.
Paul Sternberg
Paul is a also partner in Sternberg's Furniture Showrooms and Sternberg Bros.
Rentals. Paul started these businesses in 1977 with his brother Ken. Paul is a
graduate of the Career Academy of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He and his wife,
Cindy, have been married for 26 years and have two children, Jami and Nick.
Phil Parr
Phil is the store manager and a salesperson at Sternberg's. He has over 35
years of furniture experience and has Notre Dame University's Institute of
Management Retail Management Certification, accredited by the National
Association of Retail Dealers of America. As the store buyer he attends furniture
markets frequently to stay up with the latest styles in home furnishings.
He and his wife Julie, have enjoyed Jasper since 1974.
Tom Gelhausen
Tom is a salesperson and in charge of furniture repairs at Sternberg's. He has
been with our company since February 1988 and is a lifelong area resident.
